Dr. Justin L. Drab's passion for oral surgery stems from a deep-rooted commitment to serving his community and nation. After proudly serving in the United States Air Force for more than a decade, he joined The Oral Surgery Center in 2017 and immediately started putting down roots for his family.
With more than 10 years of experience studying and performing oral and maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Drab sets out each day to provide a first-class experience for our patients in and around Greensboro, NC, emphasizing safety, comfort, and education at each stage of treatment.
Dr. Drab earned his D.M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2006. During his studies, he earned his commission as an officer in the United States Air Force Dental Corps through the service's Health Professional Scholarship Program. He furthered his studies at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry and UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, where he earned a certificate in oral and maxillofacial surgery in 2013.
Dr. Drab is board certified as a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a fellow member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Southeastern Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the North Carolina Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He also a member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the Guilford County Dental Society.
Originally hailing from Erie, PA, Dr. Drab and his family decided to make North Carolina their home after falling in love with the state during his residency. When he's not with patients, Dr. Drab enjoys spending time with his wife, Emily, and kids, Ella and Wesley, playing games, watching movies, traveling, and two-stepping at their country music hangouts.
On his own, Dr. Drab spends his time golfing, running, and cheering on his favorite NFL team (Go Steelers!).
Great experience
This is the best choice for oral surgery in Greensboro. Dr. Drab and his entire staff are pleasant, very caring and professional. Rae is a wonderful nurse and the billing front office team are great too. My family has had more than 6 procedures here and this review is applicable to every single visit. I've had to call with complications and they handled that efficiently and with no wait.

Dr. Drab and his staff were so kind to me when I had my tooth extracted. They made sure my husband was equipped with all the knowledge and resources needed to care for me at home. I would definitely return to this office for my oral surgery needs. I would highly recommend Dr. Drab to anyone.
